WELCOME
Eastlea Community School
“Eastlea is recognised as a safe, kind and welcoming school, where equality, respect and tolerance lie at the heart of what we do. In our recent inspection the inspectors not only recognised the good quality of education but also noted the high ambitions we have for our students”
" The Write for Rights event was absolutely fantastic. The children leading the event were such positive role models for our Year 5s – smart, well-presented, and confident in presenting such an important issue. They supported all the groups in developing their ideas, helping with writing messages and resources, and responded brilliantly to feedback. They are an absolute credit to Eastlea. "

Our Eastlea community has come together to support families this season.
Over the past few weeks, staff raised £180 towards our Eid hampers, and thanks to the generosity of @morrisons Canning Town, we were also able to create Easter hampers. We were additionally gifted 30 Easter eggs from... @ambtionaspireachieve, helping us reach even more families.
These hampers are being distributed over the next few days, and we are so proud of the kindness and generosity shown by our staff and partners.
Today we were proud to welcome business leaders to Eastlea as part of @bitc_uk #TheKingsSeeingIsBelieving visit, exploring the realities our young people face as they prepare for the world of work.
Our students had the opportunity to speak to business leaders in industries they were ...interested in pursing, as well as answering questions from these leaders about their experiences, aspirations and the barriers they are determined to overcome. It was a powerful reminder that with the right support, opportunity and belief, every young person can thrive.
We are grateful for the opportunity to showcase our community and the work happening every day in our classrooms. Strong partnerships with businesses are vital in opening doors for our students, and we look forward to building on these connections to support their futures.
