Curriculum Promise

Curriculum Promise

At Eastlea, we believe that education extends well beyond the classroom. Our Curriculum Promise sets out our commitment that every student, every year, will access a broad range of enriching experiences alongside their academic learning.

Through visits, activities, events and projects beyond the school site, students are given regular opportunities to explore the world around them. These experiences may include museum or theatre visits, outdoor learning, performances, conferences, competitions or community-based projects. Together, they are designed to build cultural capital, develop resilience, support wellbeing and help students discover new interests, strengths and ambitions.

We recognise the richness and diversity of experiences that families and communities already offer young people. The Curriculum Promise ensures that, as a school, we play our full part in widening horizons and providing shared opportunities that enhance learning and personal development for all students, year after year.

The Curriculum Promise is not an add-on; it is central to who we are at Eastlea. It reflects our values, our vision and our belief that every child deserves an education that equips them academically, socially and culturally for the future.

By opening doors, nurturing curiosity and encouraging ambition, we support every student to Engage, Commit and Succeed.
