Pastoral Care
Our Pastoral Care System
The pastoral care offered to our students at Eastlea Community School is designed to support them in becoming independent, enquiring and creative young people, enabling them to become effective citizens of the world. We aim to provide a personalised learning experience for our students that responds to each of their needs, talents and interests.
Our experienced and talented pastoral team plays a central role in supporting every student’s social and academic development.
Please click on the white space below to launch a video in which our students share their views on how the pastoral system at school supports them.
Students have a tutor and tutor group who they see every day and who form their immediate support group within the school. Each year group has an Achievement Leader and Pastoral Manager whose role is to coordinate the activities of the group, support the tutor team and take responsibility for the welfare and academic outcomes of all students in their year group.
We also offer an inclusive, engaging, challenging, broad and balanced curriculum and a wide range of enrichment activities that are carefully designed to ensure that all students realise their full potential.
If you have any concerns about your child’s experience at school, please get in touch by emailing us on: [email protected].
