Eastlea Way
We expect the best from our students at Eastlea and while enrolled in our school, our students are all required to follow our code of conduct – known as the Eastlea Way. Students are reminded of these values at the start of each day to ensure each student is ready to learn and achieve.
The Eastlea Way is woven in to our school behaviour policy, which is available on our Policies Page.
For students, this means:
- Ready – be ambitious
- Respectful – stay kind
- Safe – make the right choices

Behaviour records on Arbor
Like a number of schools which are part of Newham Community Learning, we use a cloud-based platform called Arbor to record behaviour points and sanctions. Specifically, we use the app to:
- record and monitor achievement and behaviour points;
- set and record homework; and
- set and manage detentions if required.
Additional information
Arbor runs on an app that can be downloaded for Apple and Android phones:
- use this link to login to Arbor
- a user guide is available here
Please speak to your child’s form tutor should you have any questions.
