Our GCSE students here at Eastlea Community School have cause to celebrate  after receiving some excellent exam results. After a challenging few months it is heartwarming to see the long term hard work and dedication of our students and staff pay off. Head of School Sarah Morgan said “We are very proud to work with students who have shown great resilience and determination throughout their time at our school”.

Year 11 Andrei Nohai achieved an impressive eight Grade 9s, a Grade 8 and a Grade 7 . He has been described by his teachers as  ‘a great ambassador for the year group’.  Other students who achieved a number of Grade 9s in their results were: Nusrat Hossain and Fatiha Tabassum.

Additionally Jennifer Morais’ hard work over her time at Eastlea has allowed her to make exceptional progress and on average she scored at least two grades above her target grades. We are very excited to report that she has been accepted into the prestigious Brit school and wish her luck for the future.  Other students who also made great progress were: Shannon Sunshine, Diana Ilie and Mohsin Khan. We would like to wish all of our Year 11 students the very best for the future.
